Améa Nettle-Infused Oil helps soften and condition the skin, leaving it feeling smooth, supple and comfortably moisturised. Its naturally rich texture is particularly suited to skin that feels dry or needs a little extra care.

The oil has a natural, earthy aroma that comes from the ingredients themselves. We add no fragrance to perfume or disguise it, and nothing unnecessary. Just Irish nettles and organic extra virgin olive oil, brought together slowly and left true to their natural character.

Our nettles are hand-picked on our certified organic family farm in North Leitrim, carefully dried and cold-infused over several weeks. No heat. No rushing. A considered approach to skincare, beautifully uncomplicated.

Independently safety assessed and laboratory tested. In testing using human skin-cell models, our oil showed reductions in two markers associated with the skin’s inflammatory response, supporting the oil’s use to help soothe and calm the skin. This has also been reflected in use, with testers reporting relief from dry, itchy and irritated skin.

How to use

Warm a few drops between your fingertips and press into skin. Use daily on the face; smooth over the body; apply to dry areas; or work through hair ends to soften and condition.

Our packaging

We bottle in dark pharmaceutical-grade glass, chosen deliberately: it shields the oil from light, one of the main causes of natural oils deteriorating, helping the infusion stay at its best for longer. Premium glass costs more than plastic. We think the oil inside deserves it.

For external use only. As with any new skincare, patch test before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs. Store away from direct sunlight.
